THIS IS HOW I LEAD
Developing People
Developing people has been a keep principle in building a positive work culture. A leader for over twenty-plus years, leading an onsite team and remote teams involves making every employee feel that they play a part in the organization’s success. Leading Employee growth and development matters, a culture where the individual voice matters. Developing teams, shaping teams to create a one-team vision. Specific to remote teams and teams in customer sites, including employees and communicating, consistently creates a one-team mindset. Interacting with employees and establishing development plans, including work goals and personal goals. Maintaining morale and culture where employees must be treated with respect. Development strategies that have shaped successful teams over my leadership journey.
1. Employee voice
2. Developing a plan that benefits the employee first
3. Coach employees to develop and deliver
4. Uplifting and unifying employees
5. Take a hands-on approach to people development
A strategic approach to developing people, identifying strengths, and actively working on weaknesses has created a culture conducive to success. Leading by example when it comes to development, understanding my every action will be reflected in my team’s activities. Developing people has been an initiative-taking approach to ensuring that remote, onsite teams and hybrid teams are prepared for constant business changes. Leading by example and embracing and learning from change will improve customer satisfaction.
