SCREENING / TDR Brands International Hosts Screening for Oprah Winfrey’s New Belief Series in Partnership with The College Outlet Ministry at Georgia State University
“Prayer is your heart’s yearning”- Oprah
Atlanta, GA-October 8, 2015- Tierra Destiny Reid of TDR Brands International will serve as the host and facilitator of a free community-wide screening of Oprah Winfrey’s new Belief Series on Monday, October 19th at 7:00 PM in partnership with The Outlet College Ministry at Georgia State University. Dinner will be provided for all guests.
BELIEF is a collection of stories about the unique religious and spiritual journeys people around the world find themselves on as they seek lives of meaning and purpose greater than themselves. Taking its audience to the far reaches of the globe, BELIEF explores unique traditions of faith: culture and spirituality that connect people, helping them find redemption and meaning. The series shows how the beliefs and religious communities of billions of people around the world strengthen them, help them endure tough times, and allow them to soar.
Tierra Destiny Reid serves as a proud OWN Ambassador and is elated and grateful to have been invited to serve in this capacity. She has agreed to serve as host and facilitator for a second screening with her co-host Keshea Way on October 21, 2015 at Georgia Perimeter College. Faith in God plays an important role in Tierra’s life and in the lives of the women that she serves. She also embraces the differences that make each of us unique ans is an advocate for open discussion and awakening. Our goals for this event are to build dialogue around the power of our distinct and shared beliefs and our cultural experiences. We will discuss opportunities to deepen dialogue within our community that foster interfaith/ intercultural understanding.
